OMG, Y'all!! This is one of the BEST, off the beaten path restaurants in Chicago! We drove ALL the way up from Hyde Park and really didn't know what to expect. The space, though super small, is eclectic, with some very cool decor. The ambience and vibe are on point. Cool music playing as well. The customer service ... is IMPECCABLE! The food is INCREDIBLE!! We're GREEDY, so, we ordered the guacamole, the elotes, the fried chicken torta, fried chicken strips, lamb tacos and beef barbacoa tacos. The portions were HUGE and all entrées came with sides of either fries, which were AMAZING, or beans and rice that were quite tasty. The chicken strips came with a honey butter Biscuit that will make you slap your Mama! Not knowing how much food was headed our way, we had the audacity to order the hot donuts as well. had such a great experience here and will definitely be back. it can be so hard to find a halal restaurant and they definitely delivered. the beef barbacoa tacos were so good and the meat was so tender. couldn’t leave without getting a refill of the peach drink. donuts and cookies were amazing! incredibly kind owners!

Had a chance to try out Migos finally after having them at many pop ups. The hype is REAL! Some of the freshest, most flavorful food I have ever had. I wanted to try a bit of everything with my friend. We got the chicken al pastor tacos and the lamb barbacoa tacos. The chicken tacos were some of the best I have ever ... had, and usually chicken tacos are a bit dry to me. But these? Were perfect. The lamb tacos were also pretty good but the chicken outshines it. The potato empanadas were serious, like so fresh and flakey. You can tell it was freshly made and not just sitting out there. The star of the show 100% has to be the chicken and biscuits. Like that biscuit was so buttery and flakey and not dry. The spicy butter really compliments them well. Also tried all three juices and the kool-aid hibiscus is a must try! Amazing tacos and fried doughnut. My husband had the lamb and I had chicken- both of them were amazing! I also tried the strawberry lime aqua Fresca which was also good. Would return, one of the most flavorful chicken tacos I’ve had! Great customer service

My life will never be the same. It was beautiful how intentional they are with every aspect of the food, service and atmosphere. All their sauces were made in house and I especially enjoyed their bbq sauce which had a unique Mexican twist of what tasted like it used tajín and chamoy. I love it here! The zabiha halal food here is so flavorful and rich in deep, immaculate tastes. I’d come here again (for the fourth time!). It is a tad expensive though, but the superior quality and freshness of the food makes up for the prices! I got the fried chicken torta, beef barbacoa tacos, spicy beef empanadas, ... 4 pc chicken tenders with fries and biscuit meal, and lamb carnitas meal throughout multiple visits. Y’aaaaalll! Please do not walk, ruuuun to Migos! My friend and I tried several dishes including the lamb Philly cheesesteak (humongous), the lamb tacos, the beans, spicy beef empanadas (mouthwatering), the biscuits, the elote, fries, and their cake and EVERY.SINGLE.BITE was extraordinary. The food js a full experience ... and it is clear that there is careful attention in each flavor choice as they blend flavor profiles from different cuisines. They make everything themselves including the incredible honey chipotle butter for the biscuits, their flavorful guacamole, and house-made tortilla chips. The hibiscus kool-aid was also a refreshing twist on a nostalgic drink. The portion sizes are generous and the pricing is well matched to the portions and quality. One of the head chefs served us himself and he was incredibly hospitable, kind, knowledgeable, and attentive which made our dining-in experience so enjoyable (not to mention, very handsome, which didn’t hurt). This delicious spot and the creative culinary MAGIC of these chefs is what makes many of us claim Chicago as the best food city in the country! Congrats Chef! The jerk cauliflower tacos were so flavorful and the cojitas cheese is a nice compliment to that kick of heat. Also at the table and super delicious too was the fried torta sandwich w/crinkle fries and the chicken tacos.
